Research

My research interest vary across the field of sport psychology and human performance. Currently, my Doctoral work involves exploring the environmental characteristics of athlete development. More specifically, it focuses on how athletes “fit” within their sport environments, and how it impacts performance and development. To maximize real-world impact, I use an implementation science approach to bridge the gap from research-to-practice.

My master’s research examined professional hockey players’ within-organization transition experience with recalls and reassignments. These findings can contribute and offer insights for coaches and athletes pursuing a career in professional hockey.
